Mild Steels (M.S Flats) - Raunaq Steels

Mild Steel flats are rectangular bars with a flat cross-section, typically ranging from 20 × 3 mm up to 200 × 25 mm. With low carbon content (≤ 0.25 %), they offer excellent ductility, weldability and formability. Their uniform thickness makes them ideal for numerous general-purpose fabrications, from structural reinforcements to decorative elements. They are inexpensive, readily available and can be surface-treated (galvanized, painted) for corrosion protection.

Applications

Support brackets & gussets: Connection plates in portal frames, trusses and machine mounts
Base & mounting plates: Foundations for motors, pumps, compressors and industrial equipment
Decorative rails & grilles: Architectural handrails, fencing panels and stair balustrades
General fabrications: Tooling jigs, welding fixtures and manufacturing aids
